We headed for the community center where a lunch of roast chicken and lasagna with all the trimmings would be served...
Our servers were Ann, Ken Jr, Gloria and Shelby....
Shelby was also our cook and she did
a wonderful job of it too....
After everyone had eaten their fill we headed over
to the train Depot.There are 2 main gauges of railway/railroad at Wales West, the main 2' gauge
system & the 7.5" Grand Scale line.
After looking around the gift shop and depot we
loaded up for our ride. The train had to make two trips so everyone would get a ride.
Meet Ken, our engineer....
And we're off.... There is plenty of great scenery
too....
After a 20 minute ride we pulled back into the Depot....
After the rides were completed some passengers got to
toot the whistle....
And take a few pictures before we headed back and on
to the Show N Shine....
